Technoconcierge.com is developing a subscription-based internet service to help small businesses of less than 20 staff-members reduce onsite tech support through the use of remote-management software.
Why? And who needs this service?
Here's the problem: small businesses often don't have any financial capacity to have their own onsite network or computer technician/administrator. But they still need IT (Information Technology) services. That means they rely on some other company to send over a technical specialist to fix their problem. And for all that time, productivity -- and profitability -- is reduced or stops altogether, while the owner or manager waits for someone to come by and fix the problem, and that's money out the window, so to speak.
But what if the great majority of those tasks, everything from updating operating systems to backing them up to "the cloud" could be taken over by someone else? In fact, what if all sorts of services could be taken over -- in other words, have all the worrying removed from company owners or manager who may not be very comfortable thinking about IT stuff, and leaving it to someone else? Stuff like web-design, web-hosting, digital marketing, and all the rest of that stuff, that's important, but takes time out from what the business should be doing, i.e., making money.
Imagine paying a monthly fee to have some other company -- www.techno-concierge.com -- do all that for you. Doing that would be more stress-free and more worry-free than even the best onsite technicians can do; unfortunately, it wouldn't mean a complete elimination of onsite IT specialists coming by, but it would be a substantial reduction in the number of onsite visits, using the same sort of technology that much larger-scale companies use, but tailored for the small business market.
